I can't get with the rush the net and softly hit the ball back and forth... I play pickleball more like tennis and it's a lot more fun lol. Though, I'd still prefer racquetball but don't have the time to play anymore. Racquetball is like angry tennis and I love it xD
Beautiful video, and a beautiful pickleball pro to further a great sport
Susannah is one of the more inspiring players on the tour.
Lady with the red visor looking like an analog horror antagonist
I kinda like that question, it’s fun c:
🫡🫡🫡
Well done!
Wtf...human move faster than the ball lol
What an inspiration to those of us who are just starting in our 70’s!!!
The Ageless Athlete: Joyce Jones' Lifelong Love for Badminton and Pickleball Introduction: At 94 years old, Joyce Jones, a resident of Seattle, epitomizes the timeless spirit of sportsmanship and competitive drive. Her journey from high school badminton champion to a revered figure in the world of pickleball showcases a life dedicated to athleticism, camaraderie, and unwavering passion. Her story is not just about personal achievement but also about the evolution and community spirit of pickleball, a sport she has embraced and contributed to for over four decades. From High School Badminton to Lifelong Passion: Joyce Jones began her athletic journey in high school, where she quickly established herself as a formidable badminton player. Her competitive edge was so sharp that she could outperform all her peers, including the boys. This early success on the court laid the foundation for a lifetime of sporting excellence and determination. It was during her teenage years that Joyce met her future husband, Dawn, while roller skating. Their shared interest in sports led to a memorable and humbling first badminton match where Dawn, whose parents ran a badminton group at their church, dominated the game. Despite not scoring a single point, Joyce's spirit was undeterred. This encounter not only marked the beginning of their romantic relationship but also a lifelong partnership in sports. A Pivotal Encounter with Pickleball: Joyce's introduction to pickleball came through her husband, Dawn, who had a connection to Joel Pritchard, one of the co-inventors of the game. Joel, who grew up playing badminton with Dawn, taught them the new game he invented, which quickly captivated Joyce. This introduction occurred about 44 years ago, a significant milestone in her athletic journey. Joel Pritchard, who resided in Magnolia and invented pickleball on Bainbridge Island, played a crucial role in spreading the game. Joyce and Dawn were among the early adopters, embracing the sport and contributing to its nascent popularity. The couple played regularly, nurturing their love for the game and each other on the pickleball court. A Legacy of Competitive Spirit and Community: Today, Joyce Jones continues to play pickleball competitively, much to the amazement and admiration of her peers and community. Her son, Bruce Jones, who is 76 years old, often shares stories of people expressing their admiration for his mother’s enduring athleticism. Joyce's presence on the court serves as an inspiration, demonstrating that age is no barrier to maintaining an active and competitive lifestyle. Joyce’s impact extends beyond her personal achievements. Her involvement in pickleball has fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among players. The sport, known for its friendly and inclusive nature, has grown exponentially, with tournaments and events bringing together enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Joyce's story is a testament to how pickleball has evolved from a modest backyard game into a widely recognized and celebrated sport. The Joy of Pickleball: A Sport for All Ages: One of the aspects Joyce loves most about pickleball is its inclusive and social nature. The sport allows for both competitive play and casual enjoyment, catering to a diverse range of participants. Joyce appreciates how pickleball has introduced her to hundreds of new friends and provided a platform to reconnect with old ones. Every tournament and game is an opportunity to forge new relationships and strengthen existing bonds. Joyce’s enthusiasm for pickleball is evident in the joy she derives from each match, whether competitive or casual. The sport’s ability to bring people together, fostering friendships and a sense of community, aligns perfectly with her own values and experiences. Her influence and participation have undoubtedly enriched the lives of many within the pickleball community. Conclusion: Joyce Jones’ remarkable journey from high school badminton champion to a 94-year-old pickleball enthusiast underscores a life lived with passion, resilience, and a love for sports. Her story is a vivid illustration of how sports can transcend generations, fostering community, health, and happiness. As pickleball continues to grow and attract new players, Joyce’s legacy will remain a shining example of the enduring power of athleticism and the joy of lifelong play.
What are the prices to play?
The set up the side camera shooting toward the West into the sun. So stupid.
I met her in Gilbert AZ on the courts - she left such an impression on me! Just a great person!
Pickle ball is so fun
This is the proper target demographic for pickleball.
Daniel is a big winner!

The Vietnamese are throwing out the "uong" Alix Truong and Quang Duong that no announcers can get the pronunciation correctly.
yawn ... barely survived watching 1 minute of actual match play ... soooo riveting .... um .... not .... next ...
Pickleball should never have commentaries lol
Fudge looking great! Strong and the most athletic on here. 🎉
So Barrientos looks/his braids are intimidating. According to the RACIST BROADCASTER... His looks very INTIMIDATING..WOW 😳
Looks like he may rob the spectators after the match. Scary.
Something was off with Jardim in this match 😢She is a WAY better player than this!!!!!
new partnership is strong.
I agree, why do they have to change the scoring format from the original format as it was created. Now it’s just a power game
Hate Rally scoring. It totally Ruins the game and takes so much of the strategy out of PB. Had to turn it off after two minutes because it was just so boring!
Where’s the gold medal match?
Why is he grunting playing pickleball lmfao
the yelling by Fudge is obnoxious
even yellling when she gets a lucky netcord
this is hilarious
“And not shut up about it” 😂😂😂

I can't wait 'til Koreans and Japanese discover this sports and absolutely dominate
What about the second Semi final ?!? No where to be found !!!..<):-()...
Stop doing split screen. No one likes it and no one needs to see your interview interrupting the match we are trying to watch.
APP please organize shorts (vids less than 1:00 min) under shorts and videos under videos so it’s easier to find the actual full matches.
I hate all these dumb shorts cluttering up the channel. Can’t find the individual matches
You guys have to get this television coverage under control. Long time viewer but now fed up with fox and the likes cutting off the feed. Then Fox in this case does not have a replay posted to rewatch. I come to this site and all I get is highlights?????? And you wonder why viewership is lagging. Week after week this happens .. go here watch this bit then go here watch this bit ..ridiculous… not worth the frustration…
Wow! I like to see that in Rec Play as well.
In first match: “It doesn’t get any better than this!” Uhhmm…. Yes it does. Have you ever heard of the PPA? The top 10, maybe top 15 women’s doubles teams on the PPA Tour all hit a lot harder than these four women were hitting. Watch an Anna Leigh Waters or Anna Bright overhead - - it’s going at least a third harder and faster, maybe more than that, compared to the ones that Grambeau was hitting. The drives the average PPA female player hits are also substantially harder than anything that Harris or Jardim hit. Most of the time the PPA players are not standing and staying at the baseline after hitting their third shot drop but rushing to the kitchen line. This is in contrast to how Hendry and Grambeau were playing, but it was difficult to tell, from the angles, whether they were simply forgetting to get to the kitchen line or if they stayed back because they knew they hit lousy, too-high drop shots that were going to get pounded back at them.
Ok Jim kloss
